The committed volunteers of Luttons Environmental Group have been carrying out some work in East & West Lutton. They have completed the siding out of Wintringham Road and rightwards from the crossroads to the sharp bend by the 30mph signs.
New planters have been fitted in East Lutton and have been planted up. The majority of the plants are perennials – (coreopsis and salvia nemorosa) - so with a bit of luck they’ll spread out now, survive the winter and flower next year! The next project will be to put on at least one more coat of preservative on the wooden benches whilst the good weather lasts.
