Ceilidh with Night Owl

Night Owl presents a Ceilidh at Weaverthorpe Village Hall on Saturday 25th March 20:00 until late.

All tickets £5 (limited number, so please book early to avoid disappointment).

Bring & Share Supper, no alcohol at this event please. Any Raffle Prizes would be most welcome with proceeds going to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Camp Peru Presentation

As a huge thank you to all who donated money for his charity work in Peru, Joe Harper invites you to a Camp Peru Presentation:

on Sunday 19th February

at Weaverthorpe Village Hall 14:00 –  15:00

Light refreshments will be served. Any donations would be appreciated and all proceeds will go towards the village hall.

Foxholes Library & Coffee Mornings

During the February sessions mornings on 11th & 25th February we shall be offering our extension range of  Valentines themed literature. Everything from romances, cookery to crafts. As usual our new arrivals will be available to borrow, as will our ever increasing number of audio books.

Sessions run 10 til 12 noon

Burns Night Supper & Ceilidh

Traditional 3 Course Burns Supper followed by a traditional Scottish Ceilidh with Caller.

Friday 27th January at Sherburn Village Hall, doors open at 6.45pm, please be seated by 7pm for The Selkirk Grace.

Ladies Lunch at The Star Inn Weaverthorpe.  

Tickets cost £10pp. £5 from each ticket sale will be donated to ‘Friends of Weaverthorpe School’.

Our annual day outing this year is on 14th September to Newby Hall and gardens Ripon.

Included in the day is a guided tour of the historic house, a wander round the 25 acre gardens, and a visit to the exhibition of dolls houses, and the Gyles Brandreth collection of famous teddy bears.

This trip is open to all who would like to join us on the day and is not restricted to ladies, gentlemen are also welcome.

The inclusive cost of this trip with coach and house visit is £22.50.  (£21.50 concessions).

£10 deposit is required to secure a place.
