There will be a Jumble Sale at Weaverthorpe Village Hall on Saturday 10th May 13:00 – 14:30. Jumble may be brought to the hall on Fri 9th May 19:30 – 20:30 or Sat 10th May from 11:30. Quiz Night

Sue & Trevor Thomson present a quiz night in aid of Joseph Rowland’s Borneo Trip at Weaverthorpe Village Hall on Friday 4th April at 19.30. Cost £3.50 per person. There will be a free Games afternoon suitable for all age groups and families at Weaverthorpe Village Hall on

Saturday 15th February 14.00 – 18.00

Please feel free to drop in and enjoy a range of games including our newly acquired indoor bowls set. There will be free light refreshments served although we always welcome a small donation towards the cost of running the hall. The games afternoon coincides with the Oil Buying Club Meeting.

Oil Buying Club Meeting

Helen James of Yorkshire Energy Partnership is holding a meeting for residents interested in becoming part of an heating oil buying club. Buying your heating oil in bulk can save you between 5p and 10p per litre, so it is well worth signing up.
