Luttons bonfire night Tuesday 5th November 

Traditional bonfire night celebration will be held, as usual, by kind permission of Mr Andrew Thornton on his field which is situated off Back Lane, West Lutton. The fire will be lit at 6.30pm followed by free hot food & soup then a fireworks display.

Tonights screening ,Friday 25th October is at 7:30pm in weaverthorpe village hall. We are presenting ‘Red Joan’ (12), a fascinating true story starring the superb Judy Dench, Sophie Cookson and Tom Hughes and directed by Trevor Nunn. The story is inspired by the KGB’s longest serving British spy and asks the impossible questions that occur when the world is on the brink of nuclear disaster and what you would pay for peace.

An analysis of speed watch data over Jult to August as shown an average of 14% of drivers over the limit, many of which are travelling well in excess of 40mph.
